Bonfire Night

On bonfire night there are lots of oppertunities to explore different forms of lighting such as the fire and the fireworks. By using my camera I really enjoyed capturing images of the fire as it created a large glow around it making human silhouettes and a drastic contrast between the hot white light of the fire and everything else around it.

I also shot some recodings of the fireworks on my phone and went through them pausing the videos at different points for example, as shown on the image below I experimented looking at the point of which the firework actually exploded, showing half of the image exposed in harsh bright light and the other hald having already exploded into the firework.
