Peter Kaaden is a German photographer who in this shoot explored using a dentist camera, typically used for getting up close detailed images of teeth, however he used it focussing on the less appriciated places of the body. The camera brings out extreme detail removing any chance of hiding impurities, exposing everything. He explains, “I was trying it out on the things I like; naked bodies!. I found out that I could see things I’ve never seen before – I could be closer to a body than I was ever.”, and from this he used models he could find anywhere, using anyone who wanted to be involved with the shoot.

I love this work of his, showing everything possible on the skin, the lines, the pores the hairs, evoking quite an unconfortable and imposing view on the body you may struggle to see with the human eye.
